Turks also destroyed Armenian cultural monuments, churches and monasteries, thousands of manuscripts. Number  of Armenian churches was more than 2,000 throughout the Ottoman empire. Most of our cultural heritage has been destroyed, burned down or turned into mosques, &#8220;said in her speech Shake Gharakhanyan. According to her, the destruction of cultural monuments, followed by the place-names as the Young Turks trace of Armenians on Armenian land, not allowing a goal.
