On International Day of Monuments and Sites events were held in “Zvartnots” Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
“Zvartnots” museum and the “staff ATP Fund” ( “Armenia Tree Project”), organized a tree planting, planted 50 fruit trees and 210 other ones. On the occasion in the Museum was held lecture entitled “Each obelisk with a rebellious spirit”. “Zvartnots” historical and archeological museum, Head of the Division of Research and the stock Larisa Harutyunyan presented the Mother Temple, Hripsime, Gayane, Zvartnots, Shoghakat historical monuments, the importance of the protection of cultural property.
Within the event for schoolchildren of N8 school after Garegin Nzhdeh was held contest-quiz titled “Cultural heritage experts”. They answered the various questions of the jury. The participants were awarded with prizes.
On the initiative of the Regional Service of Armavir sanitation and improvement works were implemented in the areas of 25 monuments – in Armavir province, A. Aragat, Doghs, Echmiadzin, Watery and other areas of the monuments dedicated to the victims of World War II.
On the initiative of regional service of Armavir in Town Park was open class for pupils about the monuments.
