DENMARK’S CULTURE MINISTER’S VISIT TO “ZVARTNOC” MUSEUM-RESERVE

Denmark’s minister of culture Mette Bock and the members of the delegation headed by her visited “Protection service” NCSO’s branch “Zvartnoc” museum-reserve. Danish guests were accompanied by RA’s deputy minister of culture Nerses Ter-Vardanyan, NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan and others.

They got acquainted with the 7th century architecture, admired with its magnificence, watched the permanent exhibition of the museum-reserve.

A surprise was made for the guests in the exhibition hall of “Zvartnoc” museum-reserve. Zvartnoc quartet performed with wonderful spiritual and folk songs. Mrs. Bock also sang the chorus of one of the songs, in the end thanking Tigran Koninyan for the beautiful performance.

“Through your music you drew us nearer to Armenian culture and traditions, I enjoyed your performance very much”, mentioned Mrs. Bock.

At the end of the visit the minister noted in museum-reserve’s book of impressions: “Thank you for giving the opportunity of visiting this wonderful museum. We learnt much about your nation”.
