NCSO’s regional service of Aragatsotn joined to the event organized by the initiative of the regional council within the framework of “European heritage days”. Pupils of Talin region’s four schools: Ashnak’s, Katnaghbyur’s secondary schools and Talin’s N1 and N2 primary schools took part in the quiz-competition “The experts of Aragatsotn region’s historical-cultural heritage” held in Ashnak’s secondary school. It’s not the first time that a quiz-competition has been organized in Aragatsotn region, which was unprecedented in the quantity of participating schools.
The questions of the quiz referred to the cultural heritage of Aragatsotn, environment and history. The organizers were attracted by the readiness of the participants especially in the level of solving crossword concerning monuments. Ashnak’s secondary school’s team won in the heated struggle.
The deputy of the regional governor, the head of the regional service, Ashnak’s head of the community, school directors and parents were present at the quiz. Teachers mentioned that this kind of events contribute to the enrichment of the youth’s knowledge about historical-cultural heritage.
