NADEJDA BABKINA WAS IMPRESSED BY THE MAGNIFICENCE OF GARNI TEMPLE

Armenia is a museum under open sky. For admiring with the beauty of that museum, enlarging Armenian-Russian cultural relations and celebrating New year in Armenia Russia’s folk artist, founder of “Russian song” theater Nadejda Babkina is in Armenia. She visited “Garni” historical-cultural museum-reserve with the director of the theater Andrey Sobyanin and Kemerovo region’s deputy head of the community Elena Pakhomova. Accompanied by NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan and deputy director Karen Pahlevanyan visitors walked in the monument’s territory and listened to the sounds of duduk inside the temple. Impressed with Armenian spiritual music Nadejda Babkina also performed a song. In the end she mentioned that it was the first time she had been in Garni and her impressions are so deep that she finds it difficult to share them with us.

“I like it that you live here and tell about everything with love and enthusiasm. I’m happy for being in Armenia for celebrating New year, as people celebrate it here with great joy”, mentioned Babkina in her speech.
