Apart from the reservation of monuments NCSO’s Syuniq’s regional service actively cooperates with the region’s schools. The employees of the regional service periodically organize open lessons and excursions getting pupils informed about the sphere of monuments reservation as well as the interesting pages of Armenian history.
During the open lesson organized for the pupils of Goris’s N 1 high school after Aksel Bakunc, the deputy director of the regional service Anahit Grigoryan told about the political events that contributed to the formation of independent Syuniq. Further she told about Garegin Njdeh’s activity and role in the process and the historical significance of it. Anahit Grigoryan presented those monuments of Goris region which were erected during those years. She also touched upon the history and architectural features of Goris region’s monuments.
