THE PHOTOS AND PAINTINGS OF GUROS WERE EXHIBITED IN “ZVARTNOTS” MUSEUM-RESERVE

“The canvases of Guros express those romantic emotions, which the painter lived in front of nature scenes. The paintings of Guros are taken from nature and taken in frame”, this is how art critics characterized the paintings of Guros. The exhibitions opened by him in the Writers’ union did not remain unnoticed, maybe one of the reasons was that in the painter’s art a particular and significant role played Armenian memorials.

Today the memorials painted by ASSR honored painter Guros (Gurgen Paronyan) are exhibited in “Zvartnots” historical-cultural museum-reserve, where his photos are exhibited in a separate place. Not only his name which is the name of Goris with a sound interchanged, but also his photos are connected with Goris.  Villages of cascade architecture play a great role in Guros photos, which were emptied since the 1960s.

The visitors of the exhibition had the opportunity of getting familiar with the imagination of the honored artist Guros and the Goris scenes taken from the camera’s unique position.

25 of Guros paintings dedicated to historical-cultural monuments are preserved in “Protection service” NCSO.
