On International Museum Day, May 18, ahead to International Day of Museums, Regional Service of Ararat organized the excursion to house-museum of Paruir Sevak. Participated in tour 23 pupils of main school number 2 in Vedi, school teachers, district staff.<\/p>\n
The event was hosted by the museum director Avetik Grigoryan and she personally presented the collection. She referred to the writer’s life and literary activity of the poet’s personal belongings kept in a museum, printed books and frescoes depicting the poet’s path. The students also toured the vineyard planted by the poet, were Paruyr Sevak is buried with his wife, Nelly Menagharashvilu. Already near the tomb museum`s director spoke about Sevak’s life in recent years, about his tragic death. Students, in turn, showed their skills about works of poet, small fragments of the poet’s life, then browse the pages of his books.<\/p>\n
The pupils admitted that they return home with rich impressions.<\/p>\n
