{"id":16951,"date":"2017-08-31T14:03:59","date_gmt":"2017-08-31T10:03:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hushardzan.am\/?p=16951"},"modified":"2017-09-06T16:29:26","modified_gmt":"2017-09-06T12:29:26","slug":"{e8056ceb10a71b17f41188de28b79f10f191c155dfa2f2f07261eed1f2f6e59f}d5{e8056ceb10a71b17f41188de28b79f10f191c155dfa2f2f07261eed1f2f6e59f}ba{e8056ceb10a71b17f41188de28b79f10f191c155dfa2f2f07261eed1f2f6e59","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hushardzan.am\/en\/archives\/16951","title":{"rendered":"THE ANTHROPOLOGIST OF NCSO TOOK PART IN THE EXCAVATIONS OF ARTSAKH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The leading researcher of NCSO\u2019s scientific research department, anthropologist Hasmik Simonyan took part in the preliminary works of cleaning, researching of anthropological excavations implemented in \u00a0Hadrut region\u2019s \u201cTogh magistral edifice\u201d historical-cultural museum-reserve, by the invitation of \u201cHistorical environment\u2019s protection service\u201d NCSO under the authority of the ministry of economics of Artsakh republic.<\/p>\n<p>The anthropological materials have been opened in the southern part of St Hovhannes church, located in the territory of the reserve, during the excavations next to the church. The latter have been opened similar to Christian burials, the skeletons buried on their back, in west-eastern orientation.<\/p>\n<p>According to Hasmik Simonyan from the preliminary research of the excavated skeletons, it turned out that they all are average males. The gender-age descriptions were done according to the seat and skull bones. Each skeleton\u2019s spinal vertebra\u2019s overload, age disturbances as well as dental and pediatric definitions have also been given.<\/p>\n<p>For further researches DNA\u2019s and C 14 samples were taken from each skeleton.
