Soon the Polish will arrive to Armenia and this year works will be restarted. Foreign students also come to Armenia every year for gaining professional knowledge. This year their participation in archaeological works is planned as well. Director of \u201cMetsamor\u201d historical-cultural museum-reserve Artavazd Zakyan presented the works of the expedition group, and, in parallel with the screening of \u201cMetsamor\u2019s Observatory\u201d film, told about the achievements of the expedition within last years.<\/p>\n<p>Director of the museum-reserve also touched upon \u201cCurious Archaeology\u201d scientific-educational program, mentioning that the aim of it is to raise interest towards archaeology among schoolchildren. In the temporary exhibitions hall Lilit Makunts was introduced the details of this program.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Zakyan informed that, for popularizing the scientific achievements in the sphere of archaeology, a seminar entitled \u201cMetsamorian Readings\u201d was held in the museum-reserve. It is also planned to publish scientific volume and flyers concerning Metsamor\u2019s site. English publication will be sold in Poland as well, the proceeds will be used for solving the problems of the museum-reserve.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>In the nearest future a manual summarizing the results of Metsamor site\u2019s excavations will be published. The popular scientific version of the publication will be directed to a wider market \/in English and Russian languages\/.<\/p>\n<p>Lilit Makunts and the people accompanying her, among whom were also Armavir\u2019s Governor Gagik Mirijanyan, Taronik Community Head Armen Khlghatyan made a tour in the territory of the museum-reserve, got acquainted with the exhibition.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProtection Service\u201d NCSO\u2019s Director Ara Tarverdyan and museum-reserve\u2019s Director Artavazd Zakyan introduced the Minister the most important problem that is the path\u2019s improvement.<\/p>\n<p>A.Tarverdyan mentioned that during the six months of this year only 700 visitors came to see the exclusive samples of the museum. NCSO\u2019s Director assured that in case of the path\u2019s improvement and development of infrastructure the situation will change essentially.<\/p>\n<p>Summarizing the visit, RA Minister of Culture Lilit Makunts mentioned that \u201cMetsamor\u201d is\u00a0 a wonderful museum and so ingoing and outgoing tourism must be developed here.<\/p>\n<p>In her words, the visitors should take any souvenir from the museum-reserve with them.
