Then the temporary exhibition of \u201cThe Gold of Metsamor\u201d which is implemented within the framework of \u201cThe Secret of the Land\u201d program of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia will be opened at 12:00.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ara Khzmalyan and Alfred Kocharyan, deputy ministers of the Ministery of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia and other officials will be presented at the opening of the exhibition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should be noted that one of the largest collections of archaeological gold in Armenia, discovered as a result of regular excavations from the 1960s to the present day, will be on display in the exhibition entitled \u201cThe Gold of Metsamor\u201d.The pendants made of gold plate, beads, decorative buttons, necklace, fibulas and other artefacts are included in the collection. Museum artefacts made of agate, cornelian, sardonyx, amber are also on display in the exhibition. A one and a half turn spiral hairpin gold\u00a0 is very unique which has been found in Armenia.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The international conference entitled \u201cMetsamorian Readings\u201d is dedicated to the results of the excavations carried out in Metsamor archeological site in 2017-2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ashot Piliposyan, sientific secretary of the \u201cProtection Service\u201d SNCO, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Pavel Avetisyan, Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography of NAS RA, corresponding member of NAS RA, Hayk Avetisyan, Head of Chair, Doctor of History, Professor \/ Chair of Archaeology and Ethnography, will give a speech in the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pavel Shulgin from Russian Federation, Qshishtof Yakubyak from the Republic of Poland, Goderzi Narimanishvili from the Republic of Georgia, Zubaya Suraganova from the Republic of Kazakhstan will participate in the conference online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other participants will also give a speech at the conference.<\/span><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The international conference entitled \u201cMetsamorian Readings-2\u201d will start in \u201cMetsamor\u201d Historical-Archeological Museum-Reserve on December 15, at 10:00.
