The above listed are the reports given at the international conference entitled \u201cThe Historical and Cultural Heritage of the Armenian Highland\u201d which was held at \u201cMetsamor\u201d Historical and Archeological Museum-Reserve on the initiative of the \u00abService for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations\u201d SNCO of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport. The International Conference was held in separate halls: in the first hall \u2013archaeology and lithography, in the second hall \u2013museology, ethnography and history.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-27230\" src=\"http:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736-200x267.jpg 200w, https:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736-400x534.jpg 400w, https:\/\/hushardzan.am\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221021_125736.jpg 443w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>PHD in History Benik Vardanyan (Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography NAS RA) presented the wheeled vehicles used during the burials of some privileged individuals of ancient civilizations of the Kura-Araxes interfluve.<\/p>\n<p>PHD in History Benik Vardanyan (Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography NAS RA) \u2013 More than 30 archaeologically attested examples of the Late Bronze Ages make the Kura-Araxes interfluve the largest\u00a0 center in the region for accumulation and development of chariots. Acting as a symbol of power and used in the burials of privileged individuals (military servants, priests) the chariots indicated active connection with advanced and ancient civilizations of Asia Minor at the same time acting as a mediator for the dissemination of technologies and ideas.<\/p>\n<p>Hasmik Simonyan, anthropologist at the \u201cProtection Service\u201d SNCO gave a report on the peculiarities of preservation and museification of anthropological materials.<\/p>\n<p>Hasmik Simonyan: anthropologist at the \u201cProtection Service\u201d SNCO<\/p>\n<p>For over 15 years the researchers of our SNCO have been dreaming of having an anthropological exhibition on ancestral diseases, which still remains a dream. Their absence prevents inter-museum information exchange and mutual understanding.
