April 18 is celebrated in several countries around the world as the International Day for Monuments and Sites. Armenia has ratified the World Heritage Convention in 1993 on September 5.
Among UNESCO’s world cultural monuments “list of values” are included the St. Ejmiadzin, St. Hripsimeh, St. Gayane, Zvartnots Temple, the ancient monastery, Monastery Geghard and Azat Valley.
“Service for Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations ” NCSO has entrusted to our cultural heritage preservation, study, awareness raising and use.
We, “soldiers” of the sphere should protect and transmit our cultural heritage to our future generations a huge responsibility, as well as the history.
