COGNITIVE LESSONS WERE HELD ABOUT THE MONUMENTS

On the occasion of the International Day for Monuments and Sites series of events were held in Aragatsotn province.

“Army, education and culture” tripartite agreement mainly within the regional service officers and military unit N sanitation improvements are being made victims of Artsakh and Sasunik wars, at pantheon`s tower and church, and at Karmravor church and in the areas of monuments of Van Battle in 1915. Along with cleaning of monuments, regional service officers held cognitive excursion.

Aparan No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 major high schools, more than 270 students participated in the sanitaration work in the areas of Monument of Genocide, Aparan, dedicated to heroes of 1918 war, grave Drastamat Kanayan (Dro). During the event deputy head of the regional service Karapet Hakobyan and monument`s guardian Hovhannes Alexanyan and teachers of history held open cognitive lesson.

With the help of schoolchildren of the secondary school named after A. Ujan were cleaned the territories of monuments, here also cognitive class was held for schoolchildren.

With the support of Regional service at Ohanavan`s secondary school, was opened a photo exhibition of historical and cultural monuments of Aragatsotn region, along with an open class of monuments. Manuk Manukyan, head of the regional serviceand the monument`s guardian Serge Aleksanyan spoke about the monuments of the region, researcher Taron Manukyan spoke about preservation issues. Measures have been implemented in more than 20 communities in the region and the organization of such events will continue until April 20.
