SPIRITUAL MUSIC AND OPEN-AIR MOVIE SCREENING. VISITORS OF “ZVARTNOC” WERE IMPRESSED

The territory of “Zvartnoc” historical-cultural museum-reserve was again crowded yesterday. A surprise was being prepared for the ones who came to the movie screening. The excursion was followed by a little concert organized in the territory of “Zvartnoc” temple. Spiritual atmosphere reigned there.

Tenor Tigran Koninyan together with “Zvartnoc” quartette had excited the visitors with traditional and spiritual songs.
Later visitors watched Albert Mkrtchyan’s “Sad street’s sunrise” movie in the open air hall. The film about a family living in Gyumri and the battles in Artsakh cannot be watched without tears.

In the end visitors said they were extremely impressed with the opportunity of listening to live spiritual music in the territory of the seventh century temple. In their words the screening of Armenian films in the territory of “Zvartnoc” is also very symbolistic.

Syuzanna Gevorgyan from Austria mentioned that open-air screenings are very accepted in the world. In her opinion the initiative is also very educative for the tourists from abroad admiring the beauty of Armenian architecture.

The representative of the Secretariat of the Board of the Armenian Apostolic Church of Austria noted:
“We have a community of 7000 members in Austria. Next year is the 50th year anniversary of the construction of St. Hripsime church and I would like to organize an event together with “Protection Service” NCSO. As soon as I get to Austria will introduce the idea to

Priest Tiran Petrosyan, the spiritual leader in Central Europe and Scandinavia”. In the end he added that this time he will leave Armenia with even brighter impressions.
