On July 8, the Regional Services PHE of Lori, Tavush, VayotsDzor, Shirak, Syuniq and Armavir, together with «Gladzor University” Historical-Cultural Museum Reserve, «Arpi» Natural-Historical Reserve, «Zvartnots» Historical-Cultural Museum Reserve, «ZoracQarer» Historical-Cultural Reserve summed up the work of the first semester of 2015. The Chiefs of Regional Services and Heads of Branches delivered a speech during the report. There were presented the activities of the previous months, the process of recommendations, the steps aimed to the preservations and popularization of the monuments and spoke about the issues. The main issue in almost all regions remains the lack of maintenance of the monuments which really hamper the preservation of the monument. The report highlighted the issue of endangered monuments. It was also noted that within six months the number of endangered monuments had increased. The chiefs of Regional Services also mentioned the discrepancies on the list of “Immovable monuments of history and the culture, considered as state-owned property of the Republic of Armenia and not subject to alienation».
In general the Regional Services have continued effectively cooperating with LSG members and «Army-Education-Culture» cooperation has been also continued. There were held over 100 events dedicated to the Centennial of the Armenian Genocide, the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War and Liberation of Shushi.
The chiefs of the Museum Reserves singled out the problems of the building conditions, however noting that they were not an obstacle for holding
events. This year some Museum Reserves had more visitors within six months compared with the same period of last year.
The report was followed by a legal seminar for the chiefs of Regional Services PHE. Norayr Hakobyan (doctor of law, Advisor to the Director at NCSO) spoke about the activities of the employees in case of offense.
On July 9, there will be summed up the activities of: Regional Services PHE of Kotayk, Aragatsotn, Gegharkunik, Ararat, Yerevan, «Lori Berd» Reserve, «Goshavank» Historical Reserve and «Dilijan» National Architecture Museum-Reserve.
