CROSS STONE DAMAGED BECAUSE OF THE NATURAL AND CLIMATIC CONDITIONS

Susanna Evoyan (monument guard of the Regional Service PHE of Lori) on February 8 reported that one of the cross stones (state index 5.35.17, 11-12th century) of Dsegh village was damaged. The cross stone fell from the pedestal and divided into parts.

Climatic conditions and strong wind damaged the cross stone but it was still standing on the pedestal. The cross stone located near G. Yeghikyan`s house. The regional service reported about the accident to NCSO administration and Head of Dsegh community.

The chief of the regional service instructed the deputy chief Karen Yolchinyan, monument guard Susanna Evoyan with the support of the community head to collect the parts of the cross stone side by side and put under the pedestal after the termination of the snowfall.
