S. Karapetyan (monument guard of the PHE regional service of Kotayq) reported that the roof of the church (14th century, state index 6.25.3, restored in the 19th century) was completely destroyed. The church is located in Getamej community, Nairi, Kotayq Region. The monument is included in the state list of immovable historical and cultural monuments.

Fortunately, during the collapse there were no believers inside. The reason was the depreciation of the roof as well as heavy snow of this year and dampness after it.

Since 2010 the monument was included in the list of most endangered monuments of the region.
