With the initiative of Regional Service PHE of Gegharkunik an open class was held at Geghamavan secondary school named after Ashot Abrahamyan. The open class was titled «Let`s keep and preserve churches and chapels around us». An open class was conducted by A. Movsisyan (deputy director of Regional Service PHE of Gegharkunik) and school history teacher A. Araqelyan.

During the open class they discussed issues related to the protection of churches and chapels as well as the participation of students in these activities. During the open class there was also underlined the importance of involving students in sanitary activities.

An open class is an excellent opportunity for students not only to get acquainted with their monuments and know about their history, but also to have a small role in their preservation.
