The employees of the Department of Monuments Preservation of the “Protection Service” SNCO, carried out monitoring of the most endangered monuments in a number of border communities of Tavush region together with the colleagues of historical environment preservation regional service of Tavush on September 8-9.
The condition of the Srvegh monastery complex in Aygehovit, the Arakelots monastery complex and the ‘Sranotsi’ bridge in Acharkut, the Ghalinjakar fortress and the St. Nshan church in Berdavan and the Mshkavank monastery complex in Koghb has been observed during the joint visit.
The possible methods for improving the state of the monuments’ preservation were also deliberated during the visit.
