From now on visitors can learn about the history of “Garni” pagan temple, St. Sion church, royal bath house, royal structures and other monuments in the territory of the museum-reserve with the help of 10 audio guides.
“Hallo, you are in “Garni” historical-cultural museum-reserve”, greeting the visitors audio guide gives instructions for moving in the museum territory and gives impressive and interesting information.
The innovation being used from Marsh 19 already has positive reactions. One of the pearls of our cultural heritage is presented to tourists in Russian, English and French. It will be used in the other museum-reserves of “Protection service” NCSO in the nearest future.
By pressing on number 2 button the visitor will get information about the museum-reserve, by number 3 – about the temple, by number 4 – about the royal structures, by number 5 – about the royal bath house and by number 6 – about St. Sion church. The interesting explanation lasting 20 minutes takes us back to the sources of our history.
This is not the only innovation in “Garni” historical-cultural museum-reserve having 350.000 visitors annualy. The boulevard taking to the temple from the entrance of the museum-reserve has been tiled. Visit has become more comfortable for the disabled as well, new benches have been placed.
