April 7 is celebrated as the Day of Motherhood and Beauty. The Armenian Apostolic Church the April 7 celebrates as day of Annunciation. Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II has declared the day of blessing of women expecting mothers and mothers-to-day. On April 7, all the churches in the Liturgy is served and the joy of motherhood pregnant women are blessed.
On Motherhood and Beauty Day, in order to honor the mothers at “Garni” Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve on April 6, the event was held with the participation of Garni community high school and Khnko Aper`s schools` students, teachers, co workers of Khnko Aper library: Pupils recited poems dedicated to mothers, performed musical performances.
At the end of the event schoolchildren planted apricot and plum trees in the permissible area of the monument.
