NCSO’s Ararat region service cooperating with the department of exhibition organizations held a demonstration of pictures named “Ageless memory. Aghtamar’s St. Cross Church” in Artashat city’s house of culture. It presents the early manifestations of St. Cross’s architectural description, the map of Western Armenia, old archive photos, St. Cross before and after reconstruction, miniature of the church, frescos and photos of the buildings round the monument.
The pupils of Karatedo culture house, trainers and workers of the regional service also watched the demonstration. Onik Enoqyan the researcher of the regional service talked about the architectural heritage of Ararat region, touching upon the theme of the reservation of monuments. “Ageless memory. Aghtamar’s St. Cross Church” demonstration in Artashat will go on until June 19, afterwards will be moved to Vedi city’s culture house.
