“Eternal memory. Aghtamar’s ST. Cross church” exhibition organized by NCSO’s Ararat region and the exhibitions organizing department was held in Ararat region’s Vedi city’s culture house, where archive photos of St. Cross church were displayed. Exhibition tells about the architectural value of the church. The pearl of medieval Armenian architecture differs from other churches with its’ inner and outer adorning, we see many secular and spiritual themes in its’ ornaments, which cannot always be spotted in other monuments.
Exhibition has been watched by the director of Vedi’s culture house Artur Stamboltsyan, art school’s head Hrayr Gorgoyan, employees of art school and culture house, pupils, employees of Vedi’s municipality, parents and other guests. The collaborators of NCSO’s Ararat regional service gave some historical information about ST. Cross, and talked about the architectural uniqueness of the monument.
Event was closed by Vedi’s art school’s “Ayrarat” dance ensemble’s beautiful performances.
