The employees of “Protection service” NCSO’s Kotayq regional service and “Little tourist” organization have come up with an initiative of making summer holidays of schoolchildren more interesting.

The deputy director of regional service Aramayis Sedrakyan led the children to Teghenyac monastery situated in Bujakan community, at the same time introducing the rules of mountaineering, technique of hiking and private security.

The head of the regional service Kamo Hakobyan briefed on about the monument, problems concerning its reservation highlighting about candle lighting in impermissible places and writing on monument walls. The head of the regional service mentioned that with this behavior the future of the monument is endangered, perverting the values of history.

Campers also implemented sanitary cleanings in the monument territory.

The historical-cultural heritage of Gegharkunik community was introduced to the alumni of “Ajdahak” environmental center. The deputy head of the regional service Shushanik Hakobyan and center’s director Nelli Drnoyan organized a cognitive tour in the monument territories of the region. The employees of the regional service told about the rich cultural heritage of the region, mentioning about the difficulties that occur during the preservation of monuments.
