On International Day of Monuments and Sites, various events were held in the Tavush region. Within the framework of Army-Education-Culture tripartite agreement, events held framework with the participation of educational institutions, museums and other cultural organizations, citizens, soldiers from different communities. Monuments were cleaned and renovated areas of the province.
Fortress was introduced in an exhibition, “Cultural Heritage and sustainable tourism.” College students organized a fortress “Preservation of monuments and cultural heritage of the motherland is the sacred duty of all of us” in the open class, led by the deputy head of the Tavush Regional Service, Rafik Muradyan.
On International Day of Monuments and Sites, many museum visitors also had the opportunity to watch exhibition of the monuments by Armenian creators Ashot Harutyunyan, Hovhanisyan Misha’s drawings and oil paintings by A. Arzumanyan, paintings of Lessing Aghakaryani. Ani’s historical monuments in the region were also shown in the photos and castles. At the end of the events tree planting was organized in area of the museum, which was attended by students and pupils.
