The problem of the reservation of 30 historical-cultural monuments next to “North-south” highway is in the center of attention of “Protection service” NCSO’s Shirak regional service.
In the head of regional service Valerik Nazaretyan’s words, up today not a single case of reservation zone violation has been registered, except for a one. The organization implementing the construction of the highway had wrecked one part of the hill’s land, which could endanger “Paraqar” tomb’s order. Immediately the community’s head and the constructing organization responsibles were informed about it and the problem was solved.
The employees of the regional service cooperate with local self-government bodies for solving the problems of the sphere.
“The heads of the communities are informed that for implementing constructing, agricultural works in the reservation zones of monuments they must inform authorized bodies, to get their permission and agreement”, mentioned V. Nazaretyan.
“Cultural Gyumri will present in a new way in the future”, said the employee of NCSO, mentioning the developing project of Kumayr historical center. The head of the regional service is sure that after the construction of Rustaveli street each person visiting Gyumri will feel the atmosphere of the city full of rich cultural traditions.
