Within the framework of “European heritage days” program, “Armenian traditional wedding” was organized in the territory of “Zvartnoc” historical-cultural museum-reserve by “Protection service” NCSO and “Teryan” cultural center.
The territory of the museum-reserve was decorated by the items of NCSO’s fund. With beautifully staged performances, “Shoghakn”, “Masunq” and “Varq Hayoc” ethnographic ensembles presented the forgotten traditions of Armenian wedding. “Zvartnoc” quartet’s wonderful performance also sounded in “Zvartnoc” temple.
The “main” surprise was ahead. To the staged event joined world cup winner of chess Levon Aronian with his wife Ariana Caoli. The newlyweds decided to eternalize their life’s most important and significant days’ best moments under the archs of the 7th century Christian temple.
The members and visitors of the event greeted the newlyweds with a storm of applauds, congratulating and expressing their wishes from heart.
