In “Sargis Muradyan” exhibition hall the head of NCSO’s “Zorac qarer” historical-cultural museum-reserve Ashot Avagyan presented his new project. It bears the name of one of the posts of Mataghis in Martakert region, where heated battles took place. Those who have at least once been in that part of the border know that in these posts there is no time for analyzing or evaluating the situation, there is only a clear realization of quick actions. Ashot Avagyan is one of the volunteers of those fighting actions in April 2016.
“During those days I decided to know the attitude of the boys fighting in Sisian’s posts, as there was no time for long conversations. I brought pieces of paper from Martakert, hung them in the posts and the boys wrote on them about their emotions, feelings, opinions. Anything that is subject to publication is included in the exhibition”, mentioned A. Avagyan in his speech.
The works of the painter, photos taken in the posts, damaged parts of military vehicles and other objects have been presented in the exhibition.
Ella Kanegaryan who systematized the exhibition worked in that part of the border, arranged and presented everything the way it had been, without much interference.
