THE OPEN LESSON WAS ACCOMPANIED BY A DISPLAY

The deputy director of NCSO’s Syuniq regional service Naira Hayrapetyan held an open lesson concerning Meghri’s 19th century mode of life for Meghri’s secondary school’s 6th grade pupils. She mentioned about the developed handicrafts of Meghri during that period, particularly, the folk architecture of dwellings, and woodworking.

  1. Hayrapetyan also detailed about the hospitality of the population in that region. The youth had the
  2. opportunity to get to know about the patriotic activity of Paramazi, Edward Aghayan, Khachatur Malumyan,
  3. priest Vahan Ter-Grigoryan. Household articles used at the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of
  4. the 20th century were displayed. N. Hayrapetyan told pupils that the first consumer cooperation of Armenia
  5. was established in Meghri in 1901.

Teachers of the school were also present in the open lesson who highlighted the importance of this kind of meetings having cognitive significance.
