MARCH-FLASH MOB PRESENTING THE MONUMENTS OF FRANCOPHONE COUNTRIES WAS HELD IN YEREVAN

The march flash mob planned by “Protection service” NCSO within the framework of Francophonie events took place.

The participants of the action: NCSO’s employees, volunteers and students of French college introduced the popular monuments of 53 Francophone countries: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Belgium, Bulgaria, Moldova, Egypt, France and other countries.

“Yerevan drums” accompanied the participants of the flash mob /Republic square, Charles Aznavour square, Freedom square”, the participation of whom was very exciting.

The lecturer of Tabriz university Leila Salikasami was in Armenia for the first time and had appeared in the so called “place of incident”. She teaches French in her country. Being well informed about the culture of Francophone countries she mentioned that everything was well and interesting organized.

Foreigners were especially interested in the flash mob and they took photos of the most interesting parts of the event, took selfies, and even inspired the participants of the flash mob, waving our flag.

The aim of the event is to familiarize our compatriots with a small part of culture of francophone countries. Within the framework of Francophonie events this is NCSO’s first initiative of this year. Next one will be on April 5-exhibition and dance-performance titled “Armenian intellectuals” in “Zvartnots” museum-reserve.

“Presenting different cultures and enriching our knowledge is very important and right”, mentioned NCSO’s director Ara Tarverdyan. In his words march-flash mob will be held in one of the republic’s regions as well.
