The employees of the “Service for the protection of the historical environment and cultural museum-reservations” SNCO have recorded a total of 34 cases of offenses against monuments and uncoordinated activities in the protection zones of the monuments all over the country from January till June of 2022.
They are mainly cases of placing memorial stones and khachkars, doing funerals in the territories of the monuments, or improvements and constructions of the territories without having an agreement with the SNCO.
There have been taken appropriate measures in connection with all the cases of registered offenses.
The «Service for the protection of the historical environment and cultural museum-reservations” SNCO urges citizens to show care for historical monuments and not to damage them by self-activities.
