An exhibition entitled “Restoration in Armenia” will be held at the Mesrop Mashtots Matenadaran (the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts) for the first time. The “Scientific Research Center of the Historical and Cultural Heritage”, “Erebuni” Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve, the History Museum of Armenia, the National Gallery of Armenia, the National Archives of Armenia, the “Protection Service” SNCO, and the Museums of the Mother See of Holy Echmiadzin will take part in the exhibition. The “Service for the Protection of Historical Environment and Cultural Museum-Reservations” SNCO is preparing 15 items: part of a horse bridle, a dagger, pendants, a flabellum from the collection of “Gndevank”, a jar found in the territory of the “Metsamor” Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve by the Armenian-Polish expedition and other items kept in the “Archaeology” stock.
The exhibition will take place at 17:00, on October 18, 2022, at the Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts in Yerevan.
