THE STUDENTS OF GEGHARKUNIK REGION GET ACQUAINTED WITH THE MONUMENTS OF THE REGION

With the initiative of Regional Service of Gegharkunik Region an open class was held in the secondary school of Martuni Village. The open class was titled «The regional monuments and their current state».

Hayk Zarahyan (deputy director of Regional Service of Gegharkunik) and A. Muradyan (teacher of church history) presented high school students monuments of the region. They are Stone Age caves, castles, graveyards, churches and cemeteries.

Most of the students got acquainted through the open class with historical and cultural monuments of national significance. The organizers also gave information about the location and construction period of these monuments. The open class summed up with active questions of schoolchildren.
