The “Qari Glxi” khachqar’s area on the edge of Odzun-Alaverdi road has been cleaned and renovated due to the active cooperation of Lori “Protection Service” with Local Self-Government organs.
Although the medieval khachqar is not included in Lori region’s historic and cultural monuments state list, because of the medieval khachqar’s “poօr” condition, the head of Lori regional service Vardan Mirzoyan, together with his deputy Karen Yolchinyan and Odzun’s community head Arsen Titanyan organized the renovation and cleaning of the khachqar using appropriate techniqes. Odzun’s community head and the head of Lori regional service came to the consensus to implement the further reservation and solicitude of the khachqar.
In 2008 the above mentioned medieval khachqar has been introduced to the Ministry of Culture of RA by the “Protection Service” NCSO, for acquiring the condition of a newfound monument.
