Sedvi fortress is one of the impregnable fortifications of Medieval Armenia. It was probably built in the XIII century during the reign of the Zakarian dynasty.

The ruins of the walls, a three-story tower and the XII century single-nave church St Nshan, as well as many other structures have been preserved in the territory of the fortress.
